The “town that Frisco built” is named for C.W. Rogers, the Frisco Railroad manager who decided to locate a Frisco depot in this downtown more than 100 years ago. Like Bentonville, Rogers has a lovely historic area full of homes and businesses - many restored to their former glory. But Rogers also has a thriving new business community featuring upscale shopping, dining and entertainment venues.
East of Rogers is Beaver Lake, the largest man-made lake in the nation, which offers a myriad of opportunities for waater sports, camping and picnicking. West of Rogers is Pinnacle Point and boutiques and special stores, professional and business offices, restaurants, a health spa and even a wedding chapel. Not to mention, a phenomenal golf course!
